Pretty Sick’s forthcoming sophomore album, Anarchy — arriving Friday, September 11 — is Sabrina Fuentes’ boldest reinvention yet: a maximal collision of shoegaze, rap, rave, and distorted alt-rock that pushes far beyond the band’s grunge roots. Created primarily with producer Oscar Scheller in Los Angeles, the record channels the emotional rawness and DIY spirit that first defined Pretty Sick while embracing explosive electronic production, heavy beats, and towering walls of sound.

Led by title track “Anarchy,” which Fuentes describes as the project’s “mission statement,” the album captures her refusal to follow expectations or stay confined to a single genre. Equal parts abrasive and vulnerable, Anarchy synthesizes years of experimentation into Pretty Sick’s most ambitious and emotionally charged work to date.
